Rating : - 17 pages of instructions for assembly....?
The product is good, but it's annoying that EvenFlo feels it's OK to dump their manufacturing costs on the customer. Had EvenFlo preassembled the 4 leg struts, put the seat wheels in the seat, and pre-attached the seat cover it would have taken 15 minutes to assemble and would have fit in the same size box (no shipping cost difference for EvenFlo). Instead they just packaged the pieces up with the screws and dumped 100% of the assembly on their customers. It took me over an hour to assemble it (using a cordless drill), by hand it would have easily taken two or three hours because there are 46 screws 3/4" long. For the next version i bet they're going to make you mould your own plastic, bend your own springs, and solder the chips in the electronic toys. Whoever in the company that felt it was OK to cut costs by doing no pre-assembly should be fired.
