Buying post-consumer paper helps finish the job you started--of saving the earth's natural resources, including trees, water, and energy. Trees naturally absorb carbon dioxide--a greenhouse gas that's the primary contributor to global warming. In fact, a single tree, over its lifetime, absorbs about one tone of CO2. There are a couple of things, though, that would make this product better. The rolls are not quite as long as regular paper towels, so they tend to fall off a standard towel dispenser unless it's spring-loaded. And, if we could find the half-sheet rolls in a recycle-able product, that would become the standard for our family. Many times we only need half a sheet to do the job.
